Adding a New User to DepositLink


  • Step 1: In the left sidebar menu, click the Agents/Teams tab.
  • Step 2: Click the + New Agent button.
  • Step 3: Enter the user's information: Name, Email, and Mobile Phone Number are required. 
  • Step 4: Click on Choose Role to select the user's role. For more information see User Roles & Permissions.
  • Step 5: Assign the user's Office and Team if applicable.
*The Read Only option will allow the user to view deals/transactions in DepositLink only. They will not have the ability to create deals.

Clicking Add & Activate will send a welcome email from DepositLink to the user to create a password.

Clicking Add as Inactive will add the user to the account as Archived. No activation email is triggered.

Adding an Existing DepositLink User to Your Brokerage Account

If you're trying to add a user who already has a DepositLink profile and receive an error, it may be due to an existing user record. 

Please contact support@depositlink.com for assistance with archiving the existing record so the user can be added successfully.

Adding a New Team to DepositLink


  • Step 1: Go to the “Offices” tab and click View Details next to the office the team will be added to.
  • Step 2: Click on Teams.
  • Step 3: Click the + New Team button.
  • Step 4: Enter the Team Name.
  • Step 5: Click the Create New Team button.
  • Step 6: Success! The new team has been created.

From here, you’ll be able to add new agents directly to the team.

Assigning Users to a Team

  • Step 1: In the left sidebar menu, click the Agent/Teams tab.
  • Step 2: Locate the agent and click on the three-dot menu to the right.
  • Step 3: Select Edit Agent.
  • Step 4: On the next screen, select the Role section on the left. 
  • Step 5: Using the Select Team dropdown, choose the appropriate office/team, and click Save.
  • Step 6: Success! You have assigned an Agent's Team.
  • Step 7: Click Close to exit. 

Archiving a User


  • Step 1: In the left sidebar menu, click the Agent/Teams tab.
  • Step 2: Locate the user that needs to be archived, and click on the three-dot menu to the right of their name.
  • Step 3: Click on Archive. Alternatively, you can also click View Details and then Archive on the next page.
  • Step 4: Success! You have archived a user. 

After you have archived a user, they will be moved to the Archived Users list, and will no longer have access to their DepositLink account. 

Activating an Archived User

  • Step 1: In the left sidebar menu, click the Agent/Teams tab.
  • Step 2: Click the purple link: View Archived Agents and locate the user that needs to be activated, then click on the three-dot menu to the right of their name.
  • Step 3: Click on Activate. Alternatively, you can also click View Details and then Activate on the next page.
  • Step 4: Success! You have activated the user.
