How DepositLink Handles Security and Encryption
DepositLink takes your safety seriously. We use bank‑level 256‑bit encryption and trusted industry partners—Dwolla for ACH processing and Plaid (plus additional services like GIACT) for secure bank account linking—to protect your sensitive data throughout the transaction process.
We don’t store bank account numbers, routing details, or login credentials—those are handled by our encrypted partners. Our systems are SOC 2 Type II compliant and undergo rigorous security testing and penetration audits to prevent vulnerabilities.

While DepositLink takes extensive precautions to protect your data, it’s important to note that no system can guarantee absolute security. Here are the password requirements for your DepositLink account.
DepositLink Password Requirements:
- Minimum length of 8 characters
- At least 6 unique characters
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 symbol
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
Security is a shared responsibility between our platform and our users. We strongly recommend that customers:
- Enable all available security features on your account, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), which provide an extra layer of protection beyond your password.
- Use strong, unique passwords for your DepositLink account and any associated email addresses. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.
- Be vigilant for phishing attempts and suspicious emails. DepositLink will never ask for your login credentials via email or phone.
- Monitor your account regularly for unusual activity and report anything unexpected to our support team immediately.
- Ensure devices are secure by locking devices when not utilizing them, and maintaining secure networks, especially when accessing your DepositLink account.
